Malibu Kardashian half-brother Brody Jenner on his love for Gold Coast

A member of the Kardashian clan has declared his love for the Gold Coast, naming it the one place he’d live outside of Malibu.

FUN-LOVING DJ and half-brother of the Kardashian clan Brody Jenner says if he could live anywhere outside of Malibu “it would be on the Goldie”.

He has been kicking back on Gold Coast beaches since arriving on Monday ahead of a DJ set tomorrow night at Surfers Paradise laneway bar Taboo Tiki.

Jenner, now in his mid-30s, has visited the Gold Coast almost every year since he was 18 and said yesterday fans could expect lots of energy and “shoeys” during his set with fellow US DJ Devin Lucien.

Jenner is a part-owner of Gold Coast lifestyle and social media brand the Mad Hueys, famed for knocking back beer out of their shoes in celebration: “I’m always down for a shoey. I love the Mad Hueys, they are basically my family away from home.”

He hadn’t checked out Taboo Tiki down Orchid Avenue yet but said it was “great to see new bars popping up, I’ve been coming since I was 18 and it’s always changing”.

His gig was teed up due to his friendship with Taboo landlord and Surfers entrepreneur Craig Duffy, he said.

Jenner said he had been spending a lot of time on the beach and had a night at Burleigh’s Pink Monkey bar but was still happy living in Malibu: “But if I could live anywhere else, it’d be the Goldie.”
