Friends and family of a father-of-one have remembered a man as a “kind soul” who was taken too soon after he died in a tragic motorbike crash in Brisbane’s south.
Daniel Norman was killed after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash with an SUV at Sunnybank on February 13 during a ride home from work.
Mr Norman died at the scene after the crash, which happened before 8pm, when he was travelling south on Mains Road before colliding with a Mazda SUV turning right into Elva Street.
The 35-year-old leaves behind partner, Vivian, and a five-year-old daughter with a GoFundMe page set up to help his family recover from the devastating loss.
Family and friends of the beloved father took to social media and the GoFundMe page to pay tribute to Mr Norman.
“My Handsome nephew … (you) were taken far too soon, sleep tight xxx,” his aunty, Teresa Rowe, posted on Facebook.
“Rest in peace beautiful cousin, it still doesn’t feel real,” his cousin commented.
“Daniel was always a friendly and thoughtful person! I’ll always remember the good times we had when we were friends. May your kind soul rest in peace,” another person wrote in tribute.
The driver of the Mazda, a 19-year-old Inala man, was not hurt.
Investigations are ongoing.
