A cleaner friend’s shocking excuse after he inappropriately touched a young girl twice in Logan and asked her for a playdate, has been revealed in court.

Jordan Bradley Elloy, 37, pleaded guilty in Beenleigh District Court on April 16 to two counts of indecent treatment of a child under 12 and one count of exposing himself to a child under 12.

The court heard the Logan Central man was drinking in the afternoon at a friends home last year.

The victim, a nine-year-old girl, went to look for the family cat in her bedroom and Elloy followed her in there.

When she was in the bedroom she bent down to look for the cat, Elloy approached her from behind, grabbed her vagina over her clothes and then touched her behind.

A short time later he went back into the room and laid down on the bed next to the victim.

“Do you want to pack a bag and come to my house for the weekend and play,” he asked the girl, heard the court.

Elloy then pulled out his penis and the victim was crying, shaking and visibly distressed.

Another person in the house confronted Elloy and said ‘what the f--k did you do to that little girl, she’s nine years old.”

Elloy replied “I thought she was 13”.

The court heard Elloy had no criminal history and worked as a cleaner for six years.

He was diagnosed with ADHD and autism spectrum disorder.

Defence barrister David Funch said Elloy had struggled with social norms and was remorseful for his actions.

“He’s had a lot of difficulties in life in social interactions,” he said.

“He has worked as a cleaner and completed a certificate in mechanical engineering, there was also an early, timely plea of guilty.”

Judge Nicholas Andreatidis said the offending would have a negative, psychological impact on the victim.

“What you did was terrible and disgraceful,” he said.

“I find exceptional circumstances do exist and you won’t have to serve an actual term of imprisonment.”

Elloy was sentenced to six months prison, wholly suspended and released immediately on probation for three years.
