A single mum from Ipswich sent naked pictures of her six-year-old daughter to man she met on a dating app after he shared his disturbing sexual fantasies with her.

A 31-year-old mum, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty in district court in Beenleigh to two counts of making child exploitation material and one count of distributing child exploitation material.

The court heard the mum took two pictures of her naked six-year-old daughter from the back and front and sent them to a man she had been talking to on a dating app.

She told police the man seemed to get excited by the photos and had told her he had once had a dream about having a threesome with her and her daughter.

The court heard the photos were taken in Beaudesert and have times stamps from December 23, 2017 and December 27, 2017.

The woman’s lawyer Jack Kennedy told the court his client had taken no “perverse gratification” from taking the photos but did it in a “desperate” attempt to keep that man in her life.

He said she has been diagnosed with depression and was a victim of domestic violence.

She was sentenced to a 12 month suspended jail term. Convictions were recorded.
