The LNP has promised to fix congestion at a southern Gold Coast school carpark with a $2 million investment, which they say is “critical”.
The Liberal National Party has announced they would invest $2 million into a new carpark at Tallebudgera State School if they were to be elected in October.
LNP Member for Currumbin Laura Gerber said the school was suffering a critical parking shortage for years.
“The LNP will end the Tallebudgera State School parking fiasco and get traffic moving again with new parking options,” she said.
“Our plan will deliver relief to the school’s gridlock and futureproof parking for Tallebudgera State School.”
Tallebudgera State School P & C president Lucy Pritchard said the carpark had been a “major challenge” for parents over the years.
“This achievement represents a significant step towards ensuring a safer school environment for generations to come,” she said.
