Today's forecast is mostly cloudy; showers, heavy at times; fresh se winds.

Moist air with a dew point of 17.8 at 3am today means the temperature will feel like 19.3 degrees making the day slightly humid. The relative humidity is 86 per cent.

The highest expected temperature today is 23, which is 5 degrees lower than yesterday's max.

Warmer conditions are expected on three of the next six days, with the mercury climbing above today's maximum on Friday, Saturday and Tuesday.

The chance of rain today is 90 per cent.

Showers are less likely tomorrow with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a medium (60 per cent) chance of rain.

The UV index is predicted to be 8. There is a very high risk of harm from sun exposure. Skin can be damaged and burn quickly in today’s conditions. Experts suggest avoiding sun exposure around noon and keeping to the shade. General advice is to use eye protection, sunscreen and cover up.

Winds will be south-southeast around 28 km/h in the morning shifting to southeast around 31 km/h in the afternoon.
