BARLIN, Warren
aged 80, born in Canberra and son of George and Iris, passed away peacefully at home on 15 July 2025. Warren’s zest for life will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Suzette, sons Emilio and Antonio, stepson Otto, grandchildren Eden, Nikita, Ethan, and Cayden, brothers Keith and Robert, Brian & John (deceased) and the many friends and lives he touched along the way. Founder of the iconic Canberra restaurant Warrens of Manuka (established in 1975), Warren—known affectionately as The Strutting Peacock—lived life with flair to the very end. He was also an anonymous yet generous benefactor to many.

MILNE, Gary
GARY MILNE 25 Mar 1954 till 09 Jul 2025
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Gary Milne on 9 July 2025, aged 71, after a long illness and extended time at Robina Hospital.
Gary was a respected promoter of the Gold Coast through the Chamber of Commerce and a well-known local identity. He was deeply loved by Allan and Kylie Russell and family, as well as his close friends John Weedon, Kevin Mellor, and many others. He will be sadly missed.
As per Gary’s wishes, he will be privately cremated. A celebration of his life and scattering of his ashes will be held at a later date.
