Gold Coast families will hit the streets for one of the biggest celebrations of Halloween ever – and there’s a scary amount of things to do for all ages.
The Bulletin is getting in on the spooky action by creating an interactive map of streets taking part in the fun.
And if that’s not your thing, you can trick or treat yo’self to the range of events on around the Glitter Strip.

Halloween events
Halloween at White Rhino
When: October 28
Where: White Rhino, Surfers Paradise
Details: The main dress up party is on Friday evening, October 28, however the venue will be fully themed all weekend long.
The White Rhino team will be dressed up in their best freaky costumes.
Come and enjoy some spooky themed cocktails, get your face painted by talented make-up artists and a chance to win best dressed prizes. Free entry.
Halloween Kids Party
When: October 31 from 5pm
Where: Dog & Parrot Tavern
Details: Dress in your scariest costume or come as your favourite super hero and celebrate Halloween at the Dog & Parrot Tavern.

Halloween at Sharks
When: October 31 from 5pm
Where: Southport Sharks
Details: Enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner kicking off from 5pm, and a spooktacular kids show by LOL Crew from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Make sure to get the kids dressed up in their most ghoulish attire, as best dressed prizes will be awarded to those with the best costumes.
There’s also free kids face painting throughout the night from 5pm to 8pm.

Halloween Salsa
When: October 31 at 8.30pm
Where: Robina Community Centre
Details: The party will be running after our usual classes from 8.30pm until 10pm, playing the best Cuban music you will find anywhere on the Gold Coast! All our students and the GC salsa community are invited.
Please note:
No alcohol is permitted at this event. Non alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.
Please arrive before 9pm for entry into the party (or even better, join in our Rueda class from 7:30pm).
Halloween at SYC
When: October 31 from 5.30pm
Where: Southport Yacht Club
Details: Wear your costume for a chance to win prizes for the best dressed.
DJ, Face-painters, games and loads of lollies
Parents must book too. Parents: $15 includes meal voucher for $15
Kids: $25 includes disco, games, kids meal, lollies and soft drink.

Kids Halloween Disco Party
When: October 31 from 5pm
Where: Ashmore Tavern
Details: Bring your little critters in for the annual Ashmore Tavern Kids Halloween Disco Party, hosted by Amazing Kids Parties.
Dress up and come enjoy disco party games, dancing competitions, singalong karaoke and lots more fun activities.
There will also be prizes for best dressed on the night.
