CURRUMBIN RSL has relaunched with a newly redeveloped sports bar – dubbed “a destination inside a destination”.
Reopening to the public the week before Christmas, the multimillion-dollar makeover has been a hit with the public according to Currumbin RSL CEO Anne Stovin.
“It’s been really well received.

“The old regulars have enjoyed it and some new faces too,” Ms Stovin said.
“They can watch the sport or races in a friendlier environment. It’s like a destination inside a destination. The sports bar really stands out now.”
Designed by Cayas Architects, the project took five months to complete the final stage and totalled about $5m.
Unlike many sports bars around the Coast, the Currumbin sport provides a relaxed resort-style design compared to a more traditional club environment.
