CALLING all yogis and wine connoisseurs, Lucy Francis and her mates have found the perfect place to enjoy a weekly namaste rosé.
CHANG, Broadbeach’s newest fitness and wellness centre, is officially open and their Saturday wine yoga class is already a hic … sorry, hit.
Co-founder Ms Francis said while gym goers enjoyed a relaxing yoga flow session, two glasses of wine per person is on offer and encouraged.
“People can get a little bit wobbly in this session but it’s a great way for our clients to have some fun and relax,” she laughed. “It’s a great spin on class-based training. Along with our yoga sessions, we do conditioning and strength functional training, barbell, yoga, reformer pilates and meditation.
“We are really wanting to take advantage of the unique lifestyle the Gold Coast offers, helping members to balance all aspects of their busy lives.”
The all-inclusive membership also includes the use of custom Currumbin Cycles Cruisers and surfboards.
FULL DIGITAL ACCESS: JUST $5 A MONTH FOR THE FIRST THREE MONTHS
The reformer pilates studio will open in the new year and have around 40 sessions a week. CHANG’s Pete Haselhurst, also founder of Milky Lane, said he was keen to shake up the fitness industry and encourage locals to adopt a healthy lifestyle beyond class.
