Gold Coast Traffic: Truck and multiple cars in crash on M1 near Nerang
Multiple emergency services attended after several vehicles crashed on the M1, leaving one car stuck underneath a ute.

MULTIPLE emergency service teams attended a crash involving a truck and multiple cars on the M1 near Nerang this afternoon.
Police and ambulance crews were called at 3.20pm to the scene of the accident just before Exit 71 southbound.

Three vehicles are believed to have been involved in the incident, with one car had ending up beneath a ute.
Southbound traffic was backed up for several kilometres from the scene of the accident with one lane closed and police stopping motorists from entering the motorway.
