Gold Coast toddler who started side hustle delivering pamphlets is cashing in

Meet the 3-year-old from Pimpama who has started a side hustle and is delivering pamphlets for local Gold Coast businesses. He’s even got his own Facebook page

ZARYIS Loveridge pocketed $150 delivering pamphlets last week, not a bad wage for a three-year-old.

And what does he want to buy with his hard-earned cash? Anchovy-stuffed olives and cheese, says his mother Keisha.

“We were at the supermarket and he offered to use his money to buy a block of tasty cheese, but I told him to save it and that mummy will buy his cheese,” she said.

The energetic toddler has been modelling on Instagram since he was six weeks old and at 18 months he was scouted by streetwear brand Culture Kings. A parcel of shoes, bags, clothes and caps arrives monthly for the Pimpama kid.

But recently he’s started a side hustle, the young entrepreneur has ditched his day sleep in favour of delivering pamphlets for local businesses, charging a modest $20 per 200 flyers.

“We’re usually out for about two-and-a-half hours at a time, my 18-month-old Koah loves getting out in the pram and our dogs come too,” Mrs Loveridge said.

“A real estate company asked us to deliver 750 flyers and another business paid us 10 cents per flyer and there were 750, but the boss gave him a $30 tip so he ended up with $100.

“This week he’s made $150 and is stoked. We’re setting up a bank account that he can’t access until he’s 18.”

Mrs Loveridge said Zaryis washes his grandad’s Harley Davidson, vacuums the house, weeds the garden and even tells his nanny when there’s fingerprints on windows.

“He’s a little hustler and is always trying to do jobs for people. He has a reward chart and if he does all his tasks he gets $5 a week, but even when my parents give him 5 or 10 cents he’s rapt.”

“For his age he’s super switched on. He’s always offering to help, which is great, but can be messy when he tries to change his brother’s nappy.

“But he’s also just a kid who loves cars, dinosaurs and playing in the dirt with his digger.”

Pounding the payment has also helped Mrs Loveridge, a FIFO stay-at-home mum, stay motivated, active and has helped her mental health.

“Going for walks every day and watching people say hi to Zaryis as he deliver pamphlets is a great way to clear my head,” she said.

Mrs Loveridge has set up a Facebook page, Postzdelivery, so businesses across the Gold Coast can make inquiries about Zaryis’s business. The pair are willing to travel to other suburbs for work.
