THE State Government has released an exhaustive list of suburbs in south east Queensland that are potentially at higher risk of COVID-19.

At this stage the only public health directive in these suburbs is restrictions on people wanting to visit aged care facilities in restricted areas.

BROTHER DEFENDS BORDER CHAOS TEENS

The declaration of restricted areas comes as Queenland reported one new cases of COVID-19 overnight relating to a confirmed case from a restaurant in Sunnybank on July 23.

Deputy Premier Steven Miles said in the past 24 hours 9076 people had been tested for coronavirus and this number ‘broke records in Queensland’. Across the state there are now 1083 cases, 11 of which are active, and five people are in hospitals.
