A source in the state capital says Clive has spent $5 million on a riverfront house in Ningana St, an address in which son Michael previously has bought two of the five titles for a tad over $7 million.

NEW NEIGHBOUR FOR PROPERTY PLAYER
Max Beck, billionaire veteran Melbourne property player, has a new neighbour in the Multi-Millionaires’ Row beachfront building at Mermaid Beach that is his Gold Coast retreat.
Kieran Gibbons, from Broadbeach Waters, has paid $6.7 million for a 1000 sqm pad — $800,000 less than Max outlaid for his villa in 2011.
The two-title building was developed by preacher-turned-failed developer Mike Moorhead, with receivers selling the other one to Ann Knipe for $6.5 million in 2015.
PUBLISHER BREAKS RECORDS
Barry Colman, ex-publisher of New Zealand’s major business publication and owner of a Main Beach apartment, has broken records in red-wine country – his home nation’s Waiheke Island.
The former journalist, in his 70s, has paid $9 million for a clifftop home — a figure that at the time of settlement was a 2020 record for not just Waiheke but New Zealand.
He owns a $930,000 apartment in Admiral North and previously sold, for $1.025 million, an Allisee pad at Hollywell.
