THE wife of a Gold Coast man who won $100,000 in a lottery jackpot thought her husband was pulling her leg and his excited phone call was a load of “bulls**t”.
“I got a big surprise when I saw. I was jumping up and down, lucky I was home alone. I just couldn’t believe it,” he said.

“I called my wife straight away and told her. She said ‘nah, bulls**t’. I had to send her a screenshot to prove it. It’s awesome.”
The Coast man, who won first prize in the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot drawn Monday, plans to take his wife on a holiday.

“It couldn’t have come at a better time,” he said.
“We are going to use it to go on a holiday here in Queensland and then we will pay off some bills. It will make things comfortable, a little easier.
“We are going to go out to dinner tonight as well to celebrate.”
The man, who wanted to remain anonymous, said he forgot he even bought a ticket.
“I was just flicking through my emails and saw one from the Lott,” he said.

“I thought I’d already checked my tickets but logged into my account again to double check.”
He jumped for joy when he found he was $100,000 richer.
The man purchased his winning entry of three random numbers online.
