WE sent a reporter and a photographer to try the Gold Coast Show’s most thrilling ride — the Skywalker. This is what happened next. SEE THE VIDEO

Gold Coast Show Skywalker Ride

WHAT a thrilling day at the office!

Guys, if you’re a fan of the good old fashioned Show, especially the thrill rides and sideshow alley, you simply CANNOT look past Skywalker!

It’s classed as Australia’s No. 1 extreme thrill ride and it certainly doesn’t disappoint.

Spinning 24 people, 23m in the air, rotating off three different axis — it’s nearly two minutes of epicness.

COMPLETE GUIDE TO GOLD COAST SHOWBAGS

Ahead of the show I jumped on with Gold Coast Bulletin photographer Richard Gosling to test out the ride.

It starts off slow before launching into a full blown thrill of twists, turns and complete upside down action.

NEVER MISS A MINUTE WITH THE GOLD COAST BULLETIN APP

You’re guaranteed to have one of two reactions: throw your arms up in the air and scream with excitement, or hold on tight until your knuckles (and face) are white with terror.

The ride is located on the southern end of the Gold Coast Broadwater Parklands precinct and will cost you just $10.
