A police helicopter (PolAir) monitored a white Mercedes-Benz, which was initially spotted in Broadbeach at around 2pm Tuesday afternoon.

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson confirmed four people were taken into custody at around 3pm when the vehicle was stopped at Little Usher St in Southport.
