Hundreds of Gold Coasters have nominated their favourite gym, shouting out everything from “friendly staff” to “great community vibes”.
From more than 500 responses, we have narrowed it down to the top 35 finalists.
Jenny Evans nominated Gold Coast Performance Centre for their “variety of facilities”.
“Great community vibes, equipment up to date and heaps of options,” she said.
“Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. So glad I joined this place.”
Southport’s Body Temple received a number of nominations with its members praising the gym for it’s “totally boutique and personal service”.
“(It is) spotlessly clean, has a fantastic range of equipment and great trainers who motive, encourage and car on delivering results,” Liz Haining said.
Last year’s winner, GenFit Ormeau has been nominated again for its “community focused” mentality.
“The owners are supportive of grassroot footy and sponsor teams, open up for team training sessions,” Aaron Harper said.
“Hands down the best gym I’ve been too in my 15 years of living here.”

Nominations, via the comment section on our Facebook post, will be calculated and finalists will be announced on Friday, July 5 @ 6pm.
Finalist voting will be a subscriber-only poll vote that runs on the Bulletin website.
The poll will close on Friday, July 12 @ 6pm.
The winner will be announced in the Gold Coast Bulletin paper and online.
**Note nominations from outside the City of Gold Coast will not be counted**
