This evening, and in tomorrow’s Gold Coast Bulletin, we are publishing our My First Year special, featuring class photos from prep classes across the Gold Coast.

This is a publication I am particularly fond of, and look forward to, every year. Unfortunately it wasn’t done when my eldest son (now nearly 15) started school but I remember buying about 10 copies of the NT News when my youngest son started his schooling there.

I sent each copy off to the grandparents, aunties and uncles who all agreed – what a great keepsake. It still sits in my memento box for him and I often look back on it with fond memories of anticipation and excitement – for both of us!
