Dreamworld’s dingoes have decided neither Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Labor Leader Anthony Albanese have much to offer them, reaffirming polls that suggest a swing away from the major parties.
Kimba, Kuppar and Kiah were tasked with doggedly predicting the result of Saturday’s poll, using boxes slapped with the faces of the two key leaders and, while they found both options a bit woofy, eventually settled on Mr Albanese – by a nose.
The trio bounded towards the food-filled boxes with initial enthusiasm, taking a tentative nibble at Albo, with barely a sniff for ScoMo.
Attention for both men was short-lived, with the dingoes distracted by stones, some dirt and a bush nearby before returning to the boxes for a second nip.
Eventually, one dingo ate up everything the Albo box had to offer, while Scomo’s box was left relatively uneaten.
The results echoed those snapped by Darwin resident and reptilian oracle, Speckles the saltwater crocodile, who predicted Mr Albanese would end Mr Morrison’s long tenure this election weekend.
One of the Northern Territory’s largest crocs was tasked with the decision of selecting this weekend’s election winner, with meat chops dangling from each candidate’s corflute.
