Update November 3: Tributes are continuing to pour in for a “beautiful” Banora Point woman killed in a ute rollover at a rural Gold Coast suburb.
It comes as police investigation into the cause of the crash enters its sixth day.
A red Mitsubishi Triton was travelling towards the intersection of Beaudesert Nerang Rd and Clagiraba Rd at Clagiraba “before the vehicle lost control and rolled” just before 5pm on Friday.
The driver of the ute - 48-year-old Nicole Norton - was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition, but later died.
Family and friends took to social media to pay tribute to the much-loved mum days after the crash.
“I’m in shock, only seen her last week. We always had a chat when she came into work at Coles. Will be sadly missed and our condolences to the family,” Billy Smith wrote.
“Such a tragedy, such a beautiful lady. I will always remember such a heart of gold. Sending my condolences to the family and my prayers,” Malcolm Tasker wrote.
“RIP Nikki you beautiful soul. From me being six until today, I’ll never forget your beautiful heart and smile,” Lizzy Green wrote.
“Such sad news to hear about our friendly neighbour. ️Condolences to Mick, family and to all that love Nicole,” Lindsay Maingay added.
Another woman shared her memories of Ms Norton, who was her regular customer at Coles.
“She was such a beautiful woman. I worked at Coles from 15 to 18 and she came in nearly every day. She was so amazing and always took the time to talk to me. I’ll never forget her face,” Talia Tonkin wrote.
A police spokeswoman said they were continuing to investigate the cause of the crash and no further update could be provided.

Daughter Samie Hughes took to social media to write a heartfelt tribute for her mum.
“I feel so lost without you Mum - I was so blessed to have two mothers,” Ms Hughes wrote.
“Your love is everything a daughter could hope for. I love you and I miss you more than words can say.
“You made my Dad so happy being the love of his life.
“I will cherish your love and our memories in my heart forever.
“Thank you for loving me and for always being there for me.”
Toni Smith described her friend of more than 40 years as “beautiful on the inside and out”.
“She was just a caring, sweet, genuine person,” Ms Smith told the Bulletin.
She last spoke to Ms Norton only a week ago.
Ms Smith, who lives in Perth, received the news of her dear friend’s death on social media.
“It’s surreal - absolutely surreal,” she said.
In a tribute on social media, Jude Thomas said she would miss Ms Norton’s “beautiful smile”.
“Taken way too quickly and way too soon from us. I am sure wherever you are, your light is shining bright as it always did,” Ms Thomas wrote.
“Posting this to all my family and friends who had the privilege to meet you, so they know that you are now an angel.
“I miss you, I love you, always in my heart.”
Known to her friends as “Nikki” - Ms Norton grew up in Tweed Heads, where her mother worked as a school teacher.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the crash.
A 47-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl who were also in the ute suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
