DANIEL Wissmann will set his tastebuds on fire to raise money for cancer research.
The Worongary father-of-four will eat what is claimed to be the world’s hottest gummy bear and chilli extract tomorrow after raising more than $2500 for Camp Quality.
Mr Wissmann said his “deathly chilli feast” was a small price to pay for the children’s cancer charity, which gave his family “the best holidays” when his son Phoenix was diagnosed with a tumour in 2018.
“Our journey as an oncology family was hard and seeing our boy endure surgery, chemotherapy and radiation for nine months was unbearable,” he said. “But Camp Quality gave us the opportunity to have a vacation at Noosa and on the Gold Coast, which changed the game for us.’’
