AN ICONIC Gold Coast bar has officially reopened with a bold and colourful new look, an innovative menu and exciting new location.

After a temporary closure in July, Atrium Bar at The Star Gold Coast is back and promises to be better and more fun than ever.

A Gold Coast institution for more than three decades, the venue has been the backdrop for the start of countless love stories, relationships and marriages.

To celebrate the launch of the new Atrium, during opening week The Star Gold Coast is offering couples who began their romance at the bar a complimentary Love is in the Air refreshment gift on arrival.

The new-look venue boasts a DJ booth, retro disco ball, pops of bright pink and blue and an original disco cat sculpture.

New additions to the cocktail menu include The Bowie, a sweet and sour concoction with apple liqueur and lemon inspired by David Bowie, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, with vodka and hints of passionfruit and mango, as well as the Blossom Martini with gin, lychee and cherry.

The food menu will celebrate seasonal produce with platters and plates made for sharing.

Large groups can tuck into an antipasto board with a selection of cured meats, grilled vegetables, olives, feta and focaccia and a decadent Australian cheese platter including brie, blue and cheddar, with dried fruits, quince and crackers.

Atrium Bar is now open from 4pm to late, seven nights a week, with live entertainment from Thursday to Sunday.
