Police have charged a 38-year-old woman after she allegedly slashed a man in the face with a kitchen knife in Southport.
Officers were called to a Queen St premises around 7pm Wednesday after a fight broke out between the two people, who knew each other.
Police said a 42-year-old man suffered a cut to his face from a kitchen knife during the fight.
He declined medical treatment.
A 38-year-old Airlie Beach woman was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
She was due to face Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday.
