The Wildash St home was built in the early 90s by disgraced former Coles Myer chief Brian Quinn.

The Chelsea Ave three-lot holding was assembled last year at a cost of $6.06 million and plans were unveiled for a $190 million project close to the Gold Coast Highway.

A development application for a 41-level tower with 180 apartments was lodged in March but the Raptis plans have yet to get a green light.

PROPERTY CHANGES HANDS AFTER 40 YEARS

Geoff Burchill, part of the furniture in the Gold Coast property arena for decades, finally has found a buyer for riverfront Nerang high-rise land that’s been in the family for more than 40 years.

Geoff, visionary structural engineer, has been chasing a deal for more than six years and apparently has come up with one that settles later this year.

The retiree, in his 80s, gained approval in 2015 for five apartment buildings of from nine to 17 levels on the 2.55ha site, close to the Nerang train station.
