Gold Coasters will now be able to get their online orders faster as Amazon Australia announces the expansion of its free next day delivery to the city.
Amazon Prime members can now order as late as midnight for next-day delivery on eligible orders with no minimum spend.
Owner of Gold Coast-based business Nutra Nourished Holger “Bruce” Numrich said they have been selling their products on Amazon for three years now.
“50 per cent of our retail orders come from Amazon... we have wholesale from our website too which is maybe around 20 per cent of overall sales.
“Majority of our orders actually come from Sydney and Melbourne which is great if you order on Amazon, they all will have, next day delivery or one day delivery. Other than a few retail suppliers we sell all online so Amazon is hugely important,” he said.
Nutra Nourished is a Gold Coast based online business selling dietary supplements stocking in Burleigh, Kingscliff and Tweed retailers.
Country manager for Amazon Australia Janet Menzies said the company was committed to “getting faster” for their customers.
“Now the majority of Prime members across the country can rely on next-day delivery on more than one million items,” she said.
