A TEENAGER has been charged following luxury cars worth hundreds of thousands of dollars being stolen from a Gold Coast home.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged by police for the alleged theft of at least one car.

Three luxury cars were stolen during a break and enter at about 3am on Tuesday on a property in Surfers Paradise.

A grey 2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo, a 2020 Mercedes Benz sedan and a 2019 Porsche Cayenne station wagon were all taken from the Admiralty Dr property.

The teenager from Kingston was arrested on Tuesday night and has been charged with burglary, unlicensed driving and three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He was refused bail.

The Ferrari, estimated to be priced at over $400,000, was dumped in the carpark at Logan Hyperdome on Tuesday.

It was returned to its owner undamaged.

Several people were spotted jumping from the luxury car into the waiting stolen Porsche at about 4:40am Tuesday morning.

The Porsche was found dumped on Spruce St in Loganlea later on that morning.

Police are still trying to locate the grey Mercedes Benzes with registration number 618AD9.

Investigations are still ongoing.

Three cars were stolen from a break and enter at about 3am on Tuesday on a property in Surfers Paradise.

Earlier on Tuesday morning another break and enter occurred at Bollard Circuit in Clear Island Waters at about 2.17am.

A 20-year-old woman was woken by a loud bang and looked outside her window to see her Lexus crashed across the street.

Another Lexus in the carport had been driven forward but not removed.

Investigations into both break and enters are ongoing and Queensland Police are unsure if they’re related.

‘Significant injuries’: Terrifying moment worker gets arm caught in conveyor belt

A MAN in his 40s has been taken to Gold Coast University hospital after getting his arm stuck in a conveyor belt in Tweed Heads on Wednesday morning.

Three NSW ambulance crews and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter with a critical care doctor and critical care paramedic on-board attended the incident on Enterprise Ave at 11am.

NSW Ambulance inspector Chris Bryant said he was lucky to have his colleagues with him to help before paramedics arrived.

“The man suffered a significant injury to his arm, paramedics along with other emergency services did a great job extricating the man from the machine and treating his injuries,” Mr Bryant said.

“His colleagues did an amazing job assisting him until paramedics arrived.

“It’s important to have safety measures in place with a first aid kit to prepare for these types of emergencies at a workplace.”

The man was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
