MOST Gold Coast beaches have reopened to the public today after rough surf conditions closed beaches across the city this week.

All beaches were closed on Monday, before six — Greenmount, Coolangatta, Kirra, North Kirra, Bilinga and 4th Ave Burleigh — were opened mid-Tuesday morning.

But more rough weather is forecast in coming days, with lifeguards predicting the chance of more closures later in the week.
