Police have charged a Norlane man with multiple offences following a crash during a police chase last week.

A Norlane man has been charged following a crash during a police chase in Corio last week.
Police allege officers saw a car driving erratically in Norlane just before midnight on February 7 and tried to intercept the vehicle.
The car crashed into a tree and the three people inside were taken to hospital.
A 35-year-old Lara man was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition, and is now stable.
Senior Constable Adam West said investigators have since charged the 24-year-old Norlane man with dangerous driving causing serious injury, reckless conduct endangering life, dangerous driving while pursued by police and other traffic offences.
“He has appeared before court and was remanded to appear at Geelong Magistrates’ Court on June 6,” he said.
“An investigation into the incident is ongoing.”
