Murder accused Dan Shearin aka Jason Moorea spruiks own fashion line during police visit

The man accused of killing Gold Coast cheerleader Breeana Robinson in 2014 has used his public visit to a local police station to promote his own clothing line.

ACCUSED murderer Jayden Moorea is using the public attention to spruik his clothing range.

The Gold Coast crooner walked into Southport watchhouse today to be fitted with a GPS tracker wearing a cap with the logo of his brand C.R.U.I.S.E apparel.

Moorea, formerly known as Dan Shearin, wrote on his website jdmoorea.com that the C.R.U. I. S. E acronym, launched in 2016 had three alternative meanings — Can’t Rest Until I’ve Sailed Everywhere; Can’t Rest Until I’ve Snogged Everyone; and Can’t Rest Until I’ve Shagged Everything.

Murder accused Jayden Moorea, took the opportunity to promote his clothing company, C.R.U.I.S.E Apparel, which was launched alongside his book of the same name.

Moorea has been charged with the 2013 murder of his girlfriend Breeana Robinson, who plunged 11 floors from the balcony of her Southport unit.

He is also accused of stalking nine women between 1999-2014.

Moorea denies all allegations.

The 45-year-old, sporting a new full-face beard, had to report to the watchhouse today to be fitted with the tracker after being released on bail on Monday.

When asked about his client wearing his clothing brand, defence lawyer Chris Hannay said he did not notice the cap.

Referring to Moorea’s business, he said: “He is getting a little bit of publicity. He is trying to work hard and get back into the main stream.”

Moorea launched his clothing brand in 2016. In March 2018 he unveiled his new book C.R.U.I.S.E.

“This book contains a lot of “ship” — Sexual references, Hilarious stories, Indecent exposures, Profanities,” the cover warns.

On his website, Moorea details his career as a cruise ship singer and as a rapper touring with Vanilla Ice.

“The C.R.U.I.S.E brand, really is a passion project and all part of my grand plan to share the incredible world of cruising, with those who have not yet experienced it, (Yes, can you believe that some people have not yet discovered how awesome cruising is?),” the website said.

Moorea’s previous books include ‘All at Sea: Confessions of a Neurotic Cruise Ship Singer’ and ‘Blame Game’, a “tell all” on the death of his girlfriend, as Dan Shearin; and ‘No Bullshit Approach to Create the Life You Want’ as Moorea.
