INSTA-bikie Ben ‘Notorious’ Geppert has been sentenced over a vicious brawl at a KFC carpark. But not before a Gold Coast magistrate gave the heavily-tattooed gangster a roasting over his life choices.

INSTA-BIKIE Benjamin “Notorious” Geppert has vowed he would “never again” end up behind bars and plans to “get on with my life” after being released from the Southport Watchhouse.

Geppert was released from custody today after pleading guilty to charges related to a prolonged public fight at a Gold Coast KFC and steroid possession.

The 26-year-old pleaded guilty in the Southport Magistrates Court to a charge of public nuisance, obstruct police, three counts of possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils and one Commonwealth offence of using a carriage service to harass.

The charges relate to a public fight at KFC Robina in May which was filmed and widely circulated in social media.

In a subsequent police raid on his home he wrestled with police after they found his partner Allaina Vader naked.

Geppert, a former Finks gang member, was given a six month prison sentence, suspended for three years.

He was released from prison after counting 56 days already served.

He was also put on three month’s parole for the Commonwealth offence.

Geppert’s barrister Adrian Braithwaite, instructed by Potts Lawyers, submitted his client receive a six month head sentence for the charges.

After reading Geppert’s references, Magistrate Andrew Sinclair said there were “two” Gepperts.

“One with tattoos on his face, replica guns, a four page criminal history who consumes steroids and gets into fights in public — that person will spend the rest of his life in prison,” Mr Sinclair said.

Mr Sinclair said there was another side to Geppert, who he said had people in his life who could “see under the tattoos”.

“I’m prepared to give the person they see a chance.”

Outside court Ms Vader said her partner was prepared to change.

“(He’s) not what youse (sic) all think he’s like,” Vader said.

Geppert shared a lovers embrace with Vader in front of news cameras after being released from custody today.

He said “I’m a free man” who had changed and planned to get in with his life as he walked from the watch-house.

“I an a good person, I always have been,” Geppert said.

Asked whether he thought he would end up in custody again he said: “No, never again”.
