THE Mexican Hoon Cartel is back at it, terrorising Gold Coast roads in out-of-control stunts and burnouts.

The group, brought undone last year following a number of reports by the Bulletin, has re-emerged with a vengeance, posting several videos to social media showing members performing burnouts and driving at high speeds along Coast roads.

It is understood police are investigating the reimergence of the so-called cartel, with a number of suspects identified following social media posts.

A source told the Bulletin: “We know who they are, it’s just a matter of time before we bring them undone again.

“It will be the same as before. They act tough on social media and around their mates, but when we coming knocking it’s all tears.”

In the most recent upload, the group spent Australia Day burning rubber in an industrial estate at Ashmore, which included doughnuts, fishtails and figure eights on a street where other cars were parked.

Other videos show police officers arriving on the scene while the group hides in a warehouse, filming and taunting officers and the people down the street who had called the police.

He goes on to give the police the finger, while hiding behind curtains in a warehouse, as they check the licence plates of a number of cars used in burnouts.

As the police leave, the group heads outside and chants ‘Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi, oi, oi.”

The youths also scream obscenities as the Polair helicopter flying overhead and as the police drive away, the group goes back to doing burnouts.
