A SITE on a busy Gold Coast road will be transformed, with a new townhouse complex planned for the area.

Developer David Hartman wants to build 16 townhouses on a property on Labrador’s Government Road.

According to a development application made to the Gold Coast City Council, it will have 34 car spaces including 32 for residents and two for visitors.

There will be 12 three-bedroom houses, with the remaining four to have four bedrooms each.

All houses will be two levels.

The project will replace a series of buildings and a pool which are currently on the site.
