A global trampoline centre giant has unveiled plans to transform a vacant building north of Brisbane into a mega adrenaline playground.
Bounce Australia Pty Ltd has lodged an application on December 21 to refurbish and construct an 1800 sqm indoor trampoline centre at 168-172 Morayfield Rd, Morayfield.
The centre would include a mini bounce court, dodge ball trampoline courts, free jump arena, basketball jumping court and high performance trampoline areas.
An X-Park is also proposed, which would include 15 different elements with varying routes, as well as parkour, rock-climbing walls and ninja warrior warped walls.
Works also include construction of a mezzanine floor, featuring a cafe and eatery, offering a refuge for parents to relax while children play.
The addition will accompany internal building works and the fit-out of the trampoline centre.
The project will also include an upgrade to the facade of the building, to create an attractive frontage to Morayfield Road.
Each Bounce trampoline centre is an adrenaline playground around 3000 sqm of interconnected indoor trampolines, adventure features, padding and airbags.
The first facility opened in 2012 and there are now more than 30 indoor centres across 16 countries.
The new Morayfield centre will be next door to Supercheap Auto and Greencross Vets.
Bounce’s Queensland locations include centres at Gold Coast, MacGregor, Carindale and Tingalpa.
