THE first Gold Coast theme park attraction reopened today and Neil Young is “rip, roaring and ready to get back on the green”.
Top Golf is officially back in business and plumber Mr Young his crew from Paradise Plumbing and Gas are excited to restart their weekly golf and booze sessions again.
“We have been missing it a lot and the boys and I are stoked golf is back,” he said.
“We are rip, roaring and ready to get back on the green.
“The first hit today was great.”

The party golf hot spot closed on the March 23 but staff have been busily cleaning and preparing the attraction in the meantime.
Village Roadshow Theme Parks spokeswoman Renee Soutar said they were “pumped to reopen” but were unsure how it was going to pan out.
“We’ve had a positive response initially but it’s early days with borders still closed,” she said.
“We need them to reopen to get demand back.
“People in northern NSW frequently travel to Queensland and they are a core part of our market.”
There have been a few operational changes including cleaning between group bookings, only 50 per cent of golf bays will be operating for social distancing purposes and table service is mandatory.
Village Roadshow Theme Parks have submitted an industry COVID-safe plan specifically for their other theme parks and are in talks with the state government about reopening.
Top Golf Gold Coast, on Entertainment Drive in Oxenford, is opened 10am to 10pm daily.
