A Sydney shopper has claimed to have discovered the “perfect time to visit Kmart” so you can have the store all to yourself.

A Sydney shopper has claimed to have discovered the “perfect time to visit Kmart”.

The woman, called Danika, uploaded a video to TikTok in which she explained that Kmart usually opens its doors earlier than other stores on a Sunday morning.

She said most people didn’t know about the early opening times so if you arrive at 8am, you’ll have the store all to yourself.

“I just need to start by saying this was the best experience I’ve ever had at Kmart in my entire life,” she said in the short clip posted to TikTok.

“You have to go on a Sunday morning, but go before the shops open.”

Danika added that fewer shoppers made for a pleasant retail experience.

“Kmart opens at 8am, and you can get there when there’s no one else walking around. You’ve just got workers, the whole place is so tidy and clean.

“And, if you’re going for new season finds like I was today, you’re gonna have free roam of the whole store – there’s peace and quiet to go over every little thing again.”

Danika isn’t the only one who swears by this “hack”. Other shoppers chimed in with their favourite shopping times.

Some commented that they love going first thing in the morning because everything is restocked.

Others said they prefer late-night trips to avoid crowds.
