Southport Sharks is giving away a wedding worth $28 thousand

THE best things in life are free — but weddings sure ain’t, so this one-stop-shop business has decided to give one away worth $28,000.

Everyone dreams of the perfect big day, yours could be perfect and free!

LOVED up Aussies are paying $36,000 for their wedding, but here’s a way you can nab your big day for free.

Southport Sharks has launched their Marry Me Sharks competition, a free wedding that includes everything from the venue and catering to hair and makeup and even a fitness package in the lead-up to get that perfect wedding body.

Sales and events manager Kristie Powell said the competition will show couples everything Sharks has to offer.

“A lot of people don’t realise that we’ve got beautiful facilities for weddings and now we’ve got the hotel we can do the whole wedding from start to finish,” she said.

“Everything you can think of is included — the only things not included are the ring and dress because those are a matter of personal taste.”

To win, all hopefuls have to do is post a photo to Instagram of their engagement with the hashtag #marrymesharks by September’s end.

Couples who are already engaged can recreate their photo to enter.
