Travellers reclining in the 70-year-old refurbished clawfoot bath can choose from homemade seasonal bath salts, including a citrus blend from the orchard or lemon myrtle plucked from the bush tucker garden next to the cabin.
“Shaded by a 100-year-old fig tree using mountain-fresh spring water, you really gain a snapshot of luxury country life in the Northern Rivers,” Graham says.

“Nightfall borders the wilderness section of Lamington National Park on Christmas Creek,” he says.

Keira Farm
Mutdapilly (Scenic Rim)
Pastoral panoramas are a given in this gateway to the Scenic Rim, but Keira Farm’s Emma Pegler says their alfresco tub steals the scenery show.
Built into its own fairy-light-strung gazebo, the outdoor spa includes a sink made from a eucalyptus stump.
“The bath has the best view of the farm,” Emma says.
“It looks out over our ever-changing hay paddock and across to the magnificent mountains of the Scenic Rim behind.
“It changes so much through the seasons and time of day that you will never see the same view twice.”
Witches Falls Cottages
Tamborine Mountain
It’s all about romance in the rainforest at this cosy couples’ hideaway on Tamborine Mountain.
Witches Falls Cottages’ Daniela Kennedy says guests can appreciate the ambience without budging from the bath.
“Our Premium Spa Cottages and Private Rainforests Spa Cottages feature an outdoor bathroom with glass sliding doors and a glass roof to watch the stars at night from the double spa,” she says.
“In our Rainforest Spa Suite the double spa is outdoors in the private courtyard garden.”
If you fancy a side of bubbly with that bubble bath, the cottages are within walking distance to wineries and restaurants.
