Ryan Gosling sends Ken flash mob to Barbie director Greta Gerwig for 40th birthday

In the video, Greta Gerwig is visibly surprised and thrilled by the gift. 

Ryan Gosling is not 'Just Ken'. He's many of them according to an epic gift he sent his Barbie film director, Greta Gerwig, for her 40th birthday. 

To mark her milestone birthday, the 42-year-old actor sent Greta a surprise flash mob of Barbies and Kens. 

“As Kens know…Sometimes the only way to express your feelings is through song & dance!" a video of the epic moment was captioned on the official Barbie Instagram page. 

“Ken Ryan sent these special Barbies and Kens to start Greta’s birthday with all the feelings!!"

The hilarious footage shows Greta taken by surprise as she is mobbed by a heap of Ken during her pilates class - not knowing a thing about what was going on. 

Clearly shocked, she is heard repeating "Oh my god" over and over. 

The Kens performed Ryan's ballad from the film, "I'm Just Ken" as well as Dua Lipa's "Dance the Night Away" before wishing Greta a big "Happy Birthday!"

A special message from Ryan

Thrilled by the performance, Greta thanks the mob and says the surprise "was so beautiful" before asking "Who are you?"

A voice is heard asking her to guess who the gift was from. 

“I have no idea!” Greta replies. 

She's then given a hint: “Think of a bagpiper" - referring to another time when Ryan sent over a man playing the bagpipes to a Barbie cast sleepover he was unable to attend. 

And then the penny dropped. 

“Oh my God!” she laughed.
