Police were notified of one kangaroo that was semi-conscious after being hit at Jacaranda Avenue, Runaway Bay, and becoming a traffic hazard. It was later declared deceased.
Another unlucky jumper was hit at Blue Gum Avenue and the Gold Coast City Council would be tasked with collecting the ‘critter’.
