IT’S been quite the journey for a pack of cattle who have been on the run for a couple of days on the Gold Coast.
The four cows, who have been wandering around the streets of Mudgeeraba and Tallai since Christmas night, have been taken to the pound after no one claimed ownership.
The cows were captured by Animal Management from a street at Tallai and transported 30 minutes away to the Coombabah City Pound.
They were first spotted in the backyard of a home on Christmas Day.

They made a second appearance on Boxing Day about 10.30pm at a home at Tallai.
They were next spotted at 2.15am at Princess Place driveway and the property owner informed council.
During their three-day street stay, many friendly residents offered the cows water.
Gold Coast City Council said they received multiple calls from members of the public and are currently in the process of contacting the owner.
