A CUTE little pony has been found after going for a trot around a Gold Coast suburb this morning.

Gold Coasters were on the hunt for a missing pony who decided to go for an adventure beyond its Hardys Road home in Mudgeeraba.

A City of Gold Coast animal management spokeswoman told the Bulletin it was reunited with its family hours later.

“We put a call out on Facebook and he was found,” she said.

“It is fine and in good condition.”

HERE’S WHAT TO DO IF YOUR PET GOES MISSING?

If your pony, or another Gold Coast pet, goes missing the best place to refer to is the Lost and Found Animals register on the Gold Coast city council website.

If your beloved animal is not on there, contact 07 5581 7600 (during Coombabah City pound business hours).

If it’s after-hours try local vets, your pet may have been taken there for safekeeping.
