Dachshunds in Paradise bring owners together for support after horrific Storybook Farm raids

Gold Coast dog owners have supported each other in a fun day out for their pooches in the wake of the devastating Storybook Farm raid.

Yesterday they had more than 30 friends to chase around and roll in the grass with.

Gold Coast group Dachshunds in Paradise held a meeting to support each other following the recent Storybook Farm scandal.

Last week, RSPCA Queensland raided the animal sanctuary rescuing almost 40 animals in appalling states of ill health.

Mickey’s owner Kylie Marks saw Millie was a similar size to her dog and after chatting with the owners they realised their snags were siblings.

Amy Robinson organised the meet up as a positive way to get together and have fun with the dogs.

“They like playing with all the other dogs a lot,” she said.
