Storybook Farm: Hopeful future for some of the rescued dogs as they recover with RSPCA

THE future is looking hopeful for some of the dogs that were rescued from Storybook Farm.
The RSPCA has posted photos of five of the dogs taken from the Storybook Farm Sacred Animal Garden Rescue in North Brisbane.
The malnourished dalmatian which appeared to have difficulties standing, has been out walking with staff and looking a lot healthier.

Four other dogs — two French bulldogs, a dachshund and a bulldog — were also pictured enjoy baths and playtime.
This is the first update since the property was raided last Wednesday and the RSPCA said they will be providing more updates when they can.

Unfortunately some of the animals that were rescued from the property have since been put down due to being disabled or because of severe injuries.
“There have been many people reaching out asking how they can adopt, foster, volunteer or donate and help these pets out in any way,” the RSPCA posted on Facebook.

“With almost all of these pets being disabled in some way, it’s taking us a little longer than usual to truly get to the bottom of what we have and what we need.
“Shortly they’ll be off for CT scans and in many cases, specialist care.
“We’ll provide you with more in the coming days and weeks.”
The Storybook Sacred Animal Garden Farm had been based west of the Gold Coast for a number of years at Canungra and Beaudesert before relocating to north Brisbane a few months ago.

37 animals were taken into care of the RSPCA after they were found in varying states of neglect.
