The 'dangerous' detail
The incident took place at a family gathering, and Gaylord's daughter surprised everyone by taking her first unassisted steps.
But while they were all gushing over the milestone moment, her nephew, who is three, entered the frame and proceeded to lick a large kitchen knife.
According to Gaylord, there's a reasonable enough explanation...
"We live five hours away from family, so whenever we all get together, it's always a big celebration," the mum-of-two told Newsweek.
On this day, they had gotten together to celebrate her daughter's first birthday, so naturally there was a birthday cake.

"He was trying to get the knife so that he could lick off some icing from the birthday cake," Gaylord revealed.
"He was holding the knife until he came right into the video, and immediately we took it away."
In retrospect, the mum says it was a moment they all laugh about now, and she's grateful she caught the moment on camera.
"Never let them know your next move"
The internet was also grateful for the hilarious home video, which now has over 400,000 views.
"Not gonna lie, if that were buttercream…I’d do the SAME thing," someone joked.
"Never let them know your next move kid!" another laughed.
"We have two boys that keep us SO busy… in the toddler stage, I questioned our sanity for a while," another mum shared.
