An Adelaide preschool was forced into lockdown today after a man was found standing in the middle of the playing area.
The Adelaide Advertiser reports Campbelltown Community Children's Centre, just northeast of the Adelaide CBD, went into lockdown just after 10.30am.
Police responded to reports a man had snuck in over the rear fence and was found standing in the play area of the combined early learning service and preschool.

The centre's assistant director, Sarvia Pouso, told The Advertiser the children were all inside at the time, and a lock-in was enforced to ensure their safety.
"It was a bit shocking," she said. "The fences here are pretty high.
"Staff acted quickly ... we usually do drills for this kind of thing, so we know what to do."

Ms Pouso said the man did not try to communicate with any of the children or staff.
A South Australia Police spokesperson told The Advertiser no children or staff members were injured by the man, who left the yard of his own accord and was arrested on a nearby road.
The 44-year-old man is expected to be charged with several offences, including trespass and being unlawfully on premises.
