Pamper with Kids: Coast business offering pampering and babysitting

A new Gold Coast business is offering pampering for mothers and babysitting services for their children — all in the one place.

GOLD Coast mums no longer have to choose between getting themselves pampered or looking after their child.

There’s a new beauty salon business at Merrimac offering both.

Pamper with Kids, owned by Hollie Durack, has an onsite babysitter so mums can be pampered without feeling guilty.

“I had a really hard time finding someone to look after them (her two children) when I wanted to get my nails done or get a massage. A few times I had an appointment booked but something came up with the kids and I’d have to cancel it,” she said.

“I thought it would be so handy if I could take my daughter with me.”

Working out of her home, Ms Durack has her mother Julie Nilsson as the babysitter in a playroom beside the salon.

The salon, open Monday and Friday, launched last month and has already proved popular.

“Mums love that they can sit there, relax and hear their kids laughing and playing,” she said.
