A mum has revealed the touching find her daughter made inside a Queensland Kmart, taking to Facebook to thank the stranger.
Posting in the Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Australia Facebook group the woman revealed how her 12-year-old daughter had come across a $20 note on Saturday.
It had a letter attached which read: “If you found this, it’s yours.
“Please keep it as a reminder of your abundance! Money is energy and there’s an infinite supply available.”
“She is keeping the money safe in a jar and will keep adding to it,” the mum explained in the caption.
“Whomever you are who shared your wealth to people, may God bless you and your family. Sharing is caring.”
Other Kmart shoppers praised the “beautiful” gesture, saying it would teach an important lesson about wealth.
“What a beautiful thing to do I’d be so overwhelmed if this happened to me,” one person said.
“Great lesson. Always value money for the good it can bring to others,” another commented.
“Faith in humanity restored,” one person also wrote.
In a surprising twist social media sleuths worked out the notes had been placed there by none other than Love Island Australia star Isabelle Green.
The reality star had posted to her Instagram earlier that day sharing how she was leaving notes in the Kmart’s candle section.
“This was sooo much fun,” Isabelle wrote on Instagram after hiding the notes on the shelf.
“I’m on such a high from something so little.”
Isabelle appeared on season two of Love Island Australia which was filmed in Fiji and aired on Channel 9 in 2019.
She welcomed daughter Dakota Sage in December 2021 and now works as an influencer with more than 75,000 followers on Instagram.
