A Queensland woman whose outfit cost just $35 has left social media users shocked by the revelation, stating it looks “super boujee”.

Kmart lovers have uncovered a hot new item that recently hit stores – but it’s already proving difficult for shoppers to get their hands on.

The $35 “knit set” just dropped as part of Kmart’s new summer to winter offerings – comprising of a cute pair of shorts with a matching top.

Both the $15 “Drawstring Knit Shorts” and the Polo Collar Knit Top, $20, are available in two colours – “Ecru White” and black.

Already, fashion fans of the store have been snapping up the comfy outfit, showing off the chic fit on social media.

Islah Palmer, who runs Kmart Fever fan account on Instagram, told news.com.au the fabric was “super comfy” and had a luxury feel to it.

“It’s made out of a soft knit material, I could literally sleep in it,” she said, adding “it’s really luxe”.

“You’d expect to find it for at least $70 elsewhere.”

Kmart Australia confirmed the new addition to stores was proving very popular, explaining shoppers love products that have “versatility”.

“Our new Knit Set is the perfect wardrobe staple to help transition our customers from Summer to winter. Offering a beautiful soft touch rib fabrication, customers are loving the combination of trend and comfort,” ,” a spokesperson told news.com.au

The brand described the co-ordinating set as a “must have” thanks to the “soft drop shoulder” and “relaxed fit”.

“We know how much our customer loves versatility at Kmart so we created this set to take you from the couch, to the beach or out for coffee all while looking and feeling great.”

Islah, from Queensland, agrees – explaining: “You can also dress it up with a pair of mules or dress it down easily with sneakers.”

After sharing a video showing how she styled it, with a pair of white pumps and socks and a chic black crossover bag, she earned an impressive 37,000 views on TikTok and another 14,000 on Instagram Reels.

“Looks incredible,” one user commented, while another said: “Adding to cart now.”

“So jealous this hasn’t come to my Kmart yet,” someone else wrote.

Many more declared the outfit “cute” and “gorgeous”, with another declaring: “It looks so boujee.”

However others noted their local store was “already sold out”.
