“This will be my first time competing. I haven’t done anything like this before.”
The glamorous competition, which will crown four women in categories ‘Miss Teen’, ‘Miss’, ‘Ms’ and ‘Mrs’ Galaxy 2020, will be held at Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa in March.
Ms Toplis will spend the next two months leading up to the competition fundraising for Make-A-Wish Foundation to earn extra points.
To earn the title, she will need to walk on stage in swimwear, fashionwear and be interviewed.
“I’m so nervous but excited at the same time,” she said.
The four ladies who win will represent Australia at the annual Galaxy International Pageant which will be held in Chicago Illinois USA.
